What I’ve learned
Start where they started
Here’s what I’ve learned from the first women on my platform, Be Your Own CEO. Almost none of them came for Bitcoin. They came to get a grip on their money and to put AI to work in their own lives. They found real confidence and a sense of being in control, and Bitcoin, gold, saving in sats, self-custody, became the step they chose for themselves. So if the woman you’re thinking of won’t touch Bitcoin, stop starting with Bitcoin. Start where they started.
Above all
Before the four, there’s one thing they all rest on, and it’s the one that’s easiest to skip: listen to her first. Bitcoin isn’t the point. Money isn’t even the point. They’re a means to whatever she values, her freedom, her security, more time for what gives her purpose. Find out what that is, and connect everything back to it. Do that, and the four below follow on their own.
1 · Her own why
Connect it to her own life and her reasons for wanting to learn about money.
A 73-year-old only came alive on the AI journey when it became about her own dreams. A 29-year-old’s whole shift came from one personal exercise: working out her own number.
2 · Her curiosity
Spark her curiosity, and let her lean in without any pressure.
A 69-year-old’s money-anxiety eased into freedom precisely because nothing was pushed on her. A lifelong skeptic asked every question she needed, because she’d decided to truly understand it rather than nod along.
3 · Her confidence
Speak to her confidence, her sense of control, and her freedom.
One woman moved from handing every decision to her financial planner to taking the driver’s seat. Another found she could finally say no to the work that drained her.
4 · Her pace
Let her learn and discover at her own pace. Timing is everything.
One woman went from skeptic to her own hardware wallet in six weeks, slow, step by step, confident and clear about exactly what she was doing long before she held the keys.
